I am currently writing a huge assignment that was due a few weeks ago (eeep)on a ballet movement called a plie. Lcukily the teacher rarely if ever takes marks off for late work. As I am only doing 4 subjects this semester and have so much going on outside of TAFE, I am finding it difficult to focus on assignments. There are only 3 1/2 weeks remaining of this Diploma which has taken me 3 years to coplete so I really have to concentrate and get everything handed in by the end of exam week. (This is clearly not working as I am procrastinating on LJ!) I am pretty keen to finish and move onto the next project (Pilates Instructor) in 2010. Then my 2 careers of dance teaching and pilates instructing will be up and running! whoo hoo.
ok; The quality of the plie should match the character of the exercise; in steps of
allegro, the pressure on the descent and at the depth of the demi plie is relative to the height of the spring.......... blah blah blah

I am looking for some really nice Asian parasols in a creamy colour for my 2 bridesmaids to carry for photos on my wedding day. It does not matter if there are a few other colours on them as long as they are not too bright. They need to match the black and ivory theme. They will be wearing black dresses. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

Hello peoples, in 45 minutes I leave for Adelaide. Why Adelaide you ask? Well i have been invited by Henna Nights to teach workshops and perform over the next 3 days. I am really excited and have been sewing and choreographing all week. I just hope I am all they expect me to be!
Ok, i am putting my intention out to the universe; i need a job. Ideas anyone?

Last night I was driving back from a gig at Kangaroo Ground with 2 fellow belly dancers. Suddenly something in the sky caught our attention. As we looked up, we saw what looked like an enormous ball of fire shooting down to earth. Ir was not your average shooting star. Thoughts of a plane crashing came to mind but it must have disappeared into the earth's atmosphere. It was absolutely amazing! It was so big and bright. Luckily we were practically out in the bush so we had a clear very. Just magickal.

The Underbelly show with the Bellydance Superstars; What can I say? Just briliant. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with such amazing people. My drum solo went pretty well considering I barely knew the piece played by Matt an Anita. On entering the dressing room afterwards, Rachel Brice said words to me like; "you are a gorgeous dancer, very pleasurable to watch, you dance like a ballerina, you have a great sense of the 'inner thingy' of belly dance" Swoon!!!!!!
She was absolutely amazing to watch live. I could not take my eyes away from her. I also got a hug when leaving the Spiegeltent! I am looking forward to her workshops tomorrow.

I hope you all remember that we are having a fun party on New Years for Micheal's 30th birthday. I have just been informed that I gave you all the wrong arrival time. So if you already have plans for that evening, you can drop around for a vegie snag, a beer and a paddle in our new pool at around 3pm before you go out! It is Wendy Rule's Summer Solstice Party to be held at Wesley Anne- 250 High st Northcote, doors open at 7pm $15, $10 consession. Great news!!!! I shall be performing my Burlesque Belly Dance act at the Spiegeltent this coming Friday the 18th !!!!!! Yay.
And then I receive an email from a photographer asking me to send her some of my work because she wants to work with me!!!!!!
Oh wow, could my career finally be falling i place??
So come on down to The Famous Spiegeltent to see a little bit of wiggling!
